MEET THE BUILDERS

Phoenix Palms in an exciting amalgamation between two of Horowhenua’s highly respected builders Craig Diffey and Malcolm Davie

What Makes the Diffey+Davie Duo Exceptional…

Both have a reputation second to none, their combined experience in the trade spans over 50 years, their local knowledge spans a lifetime.

Unlike building with a franchise company, Phoenix Palms has no middleman. The buck stops with directors Craig Diffey and Malcolm Davie, who have hands on involvement providing personal, total build, service you just don’t get under the umbrella of a franchise.

Craig Diffey

Craig Diffey Builders have been synonomous with professionalism in building for over a quarter of a century. The firms motto is “If you can dream it, we can build it.” Craig guarantees building with Craig Diffy Builders will be a dream, not a nightmare.

Craig was born and bred in the Horowhenua and has a genuine passion for the region. While building in general is booming in the area, Craig has developed Fairfield Palms ensuring the heart of Horowhenua is not lost offering a rural lifestyle with building technology to rival anything offered globally. His incredible talent extends beyond bricks and mortar, every individual Craig Diffy build is a home and haven to be proud of.

Craig has seen ‘franchise’ building, where the client never gets to deal with the man at the top. That’s not the way Craig likes to conduct business. There’s no passing the buck with Craig.“My name is my reputation.” Communication is directly with Craig, in most cases everything can be dealt with, or confirmed, on the spot.

If that’s not reason enough to entrust Craig Diffey Builders to carry out what is probably one of, if not the, biggest project in your life there are some more pretty important ones:

  • Craig is a member of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association (since 2005) his work is backed by Halo, New Zealand’s most comprehensive 10 year residential guarantee. This can only be offered when you work with an NZCB approved builder.

  • A Site 2 Licensed Building Practitioner* Craig is qualified to carry out restricted building work (RBW). It is an offence with a fine of up to $20,000 for a building practitioner to carry out RBW unless they or someone supervising their work is appropriately licensed.

It’s no secret Craig is a perfectionist. This is why he has been selected to carry out so many commercial, residential and rural projects from conception to completion.
